Prompt 5:15 take off for a 10 minute mosey to warm up the legs

During the mosey, my Site Q Vern and Veteran Comms Q, Tourniquet noticed that the lot I was hoping to have run club may not be suitable for the day.  They quickly helped me modify and move run club to the field.

This move definitely rattled me as a first time snow Q but we recovered and moved on.

The Thang

4 posts were set up for a never ending relay race.  Each leg was approximately 100 meters.  PAX were to sprint their leg and hand the baton to a teammate who ran their leg.  While the baton travelled the remainder of the course with the other teammates, PAX were encouraged to recover and do SSH.  When the baton returned to you, you left again on another 100 meter leg.  We did this until Mary

Normally a CoT is an opportunity to tell a bit about oneself or some motivational quote or experience to share.  Today, I wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge on of our fellow PAX, Toby.  He attended a bbq competition along with Boston Butt and Tadpole that my charity, Mission Zero Hundred Hours, hosted.  At these events we hand out a very special item, a challenge coin.  Toby had to leave early so he was not appropriately recognized for the work he did that day, so I wanted to take a moment and recognize him in front of his fellow F3 brothers.  Toby is a model of what F3 is.  He has joined this group with everything he has.  He has established strong goals and has done everything he could to crush them.  Tomorrow is his Bday Q and final day to meet his weight loss goal.  He has 2 lbs to go.  Hopefully today helped shed 1 of those and tomorrow we can be there to support the last and get him across the finish line.

Naked Moleskin

Men, today I need to thank the other 15 PAX that woke up, saw the shit weather and then still showed up with me today.  Today is a day nobody would have questioned you staying home but you went above and beyond and accelerated.

I also cannot thank Vern and Tourniquet enough for their experience and stepping in when they knew what was going to be best for the PAX.  I honestly cannot express the importance of the Site Q, especially on a day like today.  They give us PAX that may not have the years of experience the guidance to learn and accelerate while maintaining a safe environment for the other PAX.  If you Q, please be sure to involve you Site Q in your plan and thank them because they do have your 6!
