Running on little sleep I enjoyed my 23-24 minute drive pumping myself up, getting mentally prepared. I was still practicing HTC and visualizing the beatdown. None of the HIM’s in attendance were at Bongo’s BDVQ a couple weeks ago or else they’d recognize quickly Thang One I basically copied of him. His was IMHO still much harder. I’d rate mine about a 5-6 compared to his 9-10. I’m still having nightmares about it. I added the Aladdin touch to it and called it a day. I mean who can say no to reverse crab walk at the very peak of the hill? I am a big fan of Railroad tracks. Maybe because I vividly remembered how much I hated them way back when at DT while having Flush pushing me to accelerate. I figured it would be cool to railroad track it from top to bottom and even cooler to run it back to the top. Those Thangs went faster than I had envision yet it didn’t matter and I remained calm. From there we Black Snaked it to the bridge or at least attempted to (AAR better directions). Even at 60% executed it did the job. PAX faces were beginning to change and I was feeling the second wind just arriving. I think I even told them at the bridge during Thang Three. Thang Three was inspired by a Pearl on a String I lead at DT. Our bridge is a lil baby bridge compared to this one though. Big bridge meant bigger pain. Oh yeah! We performed duck walks with decent form, flying nun’s, and my least favorite broad jumps. Thang Three was over and I was out of Thangs. I knew the coupons were on top of the hill and I knew the hill was a nice sprint away so boom Thang Four was birthed. Get to the top of the hill as fast as you can and plank for the six. I led yet not for long. Bonespur and Better Call Saul pulled up right next to me all the sudden that second wind was nowhere to be found lol. Better Call Saul took KING OF THE HILL (afterwords he said He LOVES that hill, so that explains it and he is Sin City’s dad) Bonespur took second and I came in third (at least that how I remember it). From there we riffled carried our coupons to the bottom and back up cause why not plus I still have minutes to burn. We then bear crawled down and back up. To put the cherry on top we had a couple OYG sprints, picked up our coupons and headed back to the flags for Mary.
CoT was about focused around the word “Worthy” and I shared a quote by Wayne Dyer “Self-worth comes from one thing – thinking that you are worthy.” I shared with the PAX how my CoT was inspired by Cutters the day before.
Happy Birthday Box Cutter!!!
F3 Crossroads thank you, First Class as always!
