Perfect conditions and great to shed a few layers after these past winter months. Arrived early to set up cones and do sound check on the football field. Sparkler assisted with set-up and several PAX were getting in EC runs and joined us for WoR before Joe Dirts BC.

I have been eagerly awaiting my Black Diamond VQ for some time and this one has a special purpose with my acceleration in F3 and life in general. Two months ago I attended a Black Diamond led by Muggsy in Naperville (if you don’t know him, he’s a beast). On the second round I threw my back out and dropped to the ground. It is a humbling experience to be in such a compromising situation and wondering WTF you are going to do mid workout. Much appreciation to all who were there with me that morning and provided assistance. I was able to mash my way through the next 45 minutes with the assistance of the other HIMs and it will not be forgotten. Running this Q today was my redemption and overcoming an obstacle that had set me back significantly.
As we go forward seek out obstacles that have set you back or that you know you can improve upon and attack them.
Shout out to Muggsy for the BD blueprint. Changed a few things up, but this is a great burner and did not disappoint.
Appreciate all the PAX in attendance and the Naperville guys for making the journey downrange.
All PAX emerged healthy and uninjured (I knew we could do it)
Sparkler was the aforementioned PAX who yelled Halt.
