Thang 1:  Pull Ups Suck

  • Split group into 2 with 1st group heading over the hill & other group does pull ups
  • Complete 10 pull ups (many sets as it takes you)
    • every time you break your set you do 10 squats
  • Then run up & over the hill to the other side where you complete 5 burpees
  • Run back up & over
  • Rinse & repeat

  • 100’s (arm flutters with legs 6 in) – 15 (IC)

 

CoT:

About 45 days ago Ozark lead a workout in which we had to do pull ups.  I remember having a conversation with Den Mother in between sets where we both said, “I hate pull ups & I really suck at them” & today is the culmination of that. Men, F3 teaches to not only run at the things we are not good at & we hate to do it teaches us to break down the fucking wall when we get there. I started this pull up journey only being able to complete 3 real pull ups & today I did 8 without breaking a set.  I have a long way to go but what I know is I have helped callous my mind to something I suck at.  I say it a lot of times but we have to do the things that suck & we hate b/c ultimately we are preparing for the expected but also being ready for the unexpected.  Aye!
