Thang 1 – King of the Quarter Mile
We broke into (2) Groups. Each group will have their own start/finish line. PAX will line up and race around 1/4 mile parking lot loop until they get back to their finish line. Last PAX to cross finish line is eliminated and will enter the losers loop.
- All PAX to SSH until the 6 from their heat is in
- Winner of the heat will give 10 sec countdown and then next heat will begin.
- Combine groups into a single main heat once total number of remaining PAX is 6 or less.
- Rinse and repeat until there is only 1 PAX left. They will be crowned King of The Quarter Mile.
Once PAX is eliminated from the main event, they will enter Looser Loop. PAX in this group will sprint long sides of parking lot and recover on short sides. These PAX must stay on the outside of the lot and run in the opposite direction from main heats. All PAX will eventually enter losers loop. This will continue until MARY.
Thang 2 – Sprints
Broke into two groups, Clydesdale and Gazelles. Clysdales lined up and did 40 yard sprints while Gazelles did 60-yard sprints. Slowest in each class was eliminated. Eliminated PAX did losers loop until race was over.
Thang 3 – Parking Lot Mosey
Finished both thangs with about 10 minutes left. Directed PAX to push pace and run parking lot loops until Mary.

They say marine life grows to fit their environment. A shark may only grow to 8” in an aquarium, but in the ocean it can get over 8’. I say as people we do the same. We are products of our environment. If we put ourselves into situations that challenge us, our way of thinking, it will mold us to be better men, fathers, husbands, professionals, and just overall better people. We to will grow and become larger pillars in our own circles. I left the the PAX with a challenge to continue to look for and put themselves into that larger fish bowl.
