A workout was planned well in advance of the expected snow. When I had it all mapped out and I was sitting at the kitchen table I complained to my wife that it was going to snow. My daughter, who is 6 years old, immediately chimes in, “ You GET to play in the snow?!?” yes, YES! We got to play in the snow. The message is to stay youthful and look at the world through a child’s eyes. Everything to them is exciting, beautiful, fresh, and FUN! We teach ourselves to add negativity to all of our life’s situations. It was such a beautiful day for a group of us, who were able to get up before the world was touched and play in the snow.
I want to keep reminding myself of my COT today and I put a lot of pressure on myself to host a good Q. When everyone arrived and Happy Camper threw a snowball at Nickelback, I knew we were gonna be alright.
