CoT:

On May 7, 1945, Germany signed an unconditional surrender at Allied headquarters in Rheims (rams), France, ending its role in World War II after 6 years of fighting.  Recently I had the opportunity to visit the WW II Museum in New Orleans.  It was probably the most impactful museum I have ever been in as it gave me a glimpse into one of my idols lives my Grandfather. Many things stood out to me on the visit but one of the early images I saw that showed the size of the armies when WW II broke out.  At the start of the war Japan’s army had 850k troops, Germany had 3.2 MM, & the US had 300k.  Germany’s army was 4 times our size.  We honestly had no business winning that war.  I think about the leaders at the time, men like MacArthur & Patton.  Men that could inspire others to accomplish great things. I don’t want to trivialize what they did to what we are doing but concepts apply. We are up against a big fight to defeat Sad Clown Syndrome & we need leaders that have characteristics like those great leaders of the time.  One of Patton’s famous quotes was, “A pint of sweat, will save a gallon of blood.” Which in F3 can be summed up as “preparedness”. It does not matter that there are only 25k F3 men in a world of 4 billion men. If we do the hard things now & are prepared for the moments when we face Sad Clown Syndrome then ultimately we will prevail.  Aye

Prayer:

Dear lord thank you for this opportunity to wake up early in the gloom & experience your greatness.  We are humbled for the opportunity you give us every day to be in your glory & serve you as leaders in our community.  Watch over those that are not as fortunate as us & give them healing & strength in their struggles.  In your name we pray.  Amen!
