06/17/2021 – The Olympiad – Thursday – Boot Camp

Intro:

Beautiful morning arrived at the AO before 5 am for my simple cone set up in the field.  Dilly Dilly, Fish Sticks and 1040 EZ were there taking a few warm up laps around the track.

The Thangs

Thang 1:Started off with a modified Indian Run.  Pax lined up and started the mosey, first guy breaks off to the side and does 5 merkins then sprints to the back of the line and let’s the leader know the 6 is in.  Next leader breaks off for merkins and the procession continues.  2- 3 laps around the track with merkins and big boys mixed in.
Thang 2:Three cone stations set up in the field.  First station 25 curls, 20 skull crushers, 20 overhead press, then leave coupons and run to second cone.  Second station 20 squats, 20 monkey hampers and 20 merkins, then bear crawl to cone 3.  Station 3 10 burpees, 20 leg lifts then run to first station.  Rinse and repeat OYO.

Circle of Trust (CoT)

For the past few weeks I have been trying to focus on letting things go that I want to control.   Family life, work issues, etc.  We all wake up every morning to work hard and do our best but at some point we need to let go of situations that we can’t control.   I’m working on it, and its a reminder for everyone.
