Thanks to the 6 other men that came out for a little “extra weight” run club.  Some men through vests on & others through rucks on but no doubt the work was put in.  The ruck group started at a 3×1 pace (3 min ruck, 1 min shuffle) which escalated into a 2×2 at the end.  We got in 3.5 miles pushing the pace at under 11 mins!!

Also ask @tuohy why he had to stop at CVS & what happened to his head headband:)

Thanks for @bob_villa for having the 6

Circle of Trust (CoT)

June 11th 1963.  The day John F. Kennedy addressed the entire nation on the struggle to affirm civil rights for all Americans telling the country he was sending legislation to Congress. “The heart of the question is — whether all Americans are to be afforded equal rights and equal opportunities. Whether we are going to treat our fellow Americans as we want to be treated. If an American, because his skin is dark, cannot eat lunch in a restaurant open to the public, if he cannot send his children to the best public school available, if he cannot vote for the public officials who represent him, if, in short, he cannot enjoy the full and free life which all of us want, then who among us would be content to have the color of his skin changed and stand in his place? Who among us would then be content with the counsels of patience and delay?” “It is not enough to pin the blame on others, to say this is a problem of one section of the country or another, or deplore the fact that we face. A great change is at hand, and our task, our obligation, is to make that revolution, that change, peaceful and constructive for all.”  Today we carried extra weight men to symbolize the burden those trailblazers of the time carried paving the 43 feet in front for the country.  While we are certainly not solving for 100’s of years of slavery our mission remains important to help free other men of their Sad Clown burden & make them better men to be leaders in our communities.  Aye!

  • Dear Lord we thank you for this beautiful morning to be out here in the gloom with these HIM’s. We are blessed to wake up every morning & we thank you for guiding us to this opportunity of F3 ultimately to be leaders in our communities but first in “Getting Right” with ourselves so we can be that light you need us to be for others.  In your name we pray.
